This week we are presenting just a short letter so that we can enjoy being with the family for the Thanksgiving weekend. We have lots to be thankful for, and this week we are especially thankful to the "expert analyst" that downgraded our splitter, STLD. That drove it to the Big Dipper target buy price and in just 3 recovery trading days we were out of the Big Dipper, showing a profit of $6.75 and if you bought the options, you saw a 130% gain in the CALL and a 71% gain in the PUTs. This is but another example of why the Big Dipper System continues to be a very bright spot for us.
Splitters have gone up on average, as we keep saying, for 31 straight years--so when there is an unexpected dip in one of them, we see it as a good potential profit move to buy the stock and/or follow our option programs, buying the CALL and writing/selling the PUT. Splits are announced by companies that are doing well, and STLD was and is doing well. In addition, we are holding the Basic play in STLD until the posted sell date, and the stock has continued to move up above our target sell price in the Big Dipper System. If this holds until sell date, we will see a double profit, one for the Big Dipper System, and a higher selling price in the Basic System.
The market continues to be strong--and the buying emotion is still continuing, with the Nas up 3 of the 4 trading days this week. We look forward to the Christmas period, which has usually been good---yes, we like the 4th quarter a lot.
That's all for this week. We wish everyone joy for this Thanksgiiving weekend.
Today's Thought---

Among legendary misers, it's hard to ignore the great Jack Benny. Once, on Benny's radio show, a robber held him up at gunpoint demanding, "Your money or your life." When Benny hesitated, the thief repeated his demand. As the studio audience's snickers grew to a roar, Benny said, "I'm thinking, I'm thinking!"...............and I'm old enough to remember seeing that show. You had to see his facial expressions and his tone of voice as he was saying it. Jack Benny was a real one-of-a-kind.
